If you are planning on flying in, there are two airports now to choose from: Tampa International and St. Petersburg-Clearwater International. They are both about the same distance from Homosassa.

DRIVING

From U.S. 19 in Homosassa Springs, look for Burger King and turn west at traffic light. This is Yulee Road (or S.R. 490-S). Follow the two-lane, double yellow center-lined road for just over 2 miles to stop sign. Turn left and continue to follow double-yellow lines just over a mile. Just before the end you will have to stop at a four-way stop sign, and tennis courts will be on your right. Go straight ahead for 300 feet and turn left onto the parking lot of MacRae's. The gray block building is the bait house on the river and the office for MacRae's motel.
